PPBC Makes Donations to Two Small, But Very Important, Charities

We are delighted to have donated £2,000 to each of two charities suggested by members.

Arts4Dementia, as proposed by Jonathan Lass, is a charity that uses art to empower people effected by dementia. Our donation has been put towards our London Arts Programme, which typically involves five or six 8-week workshop programmes and six training sessions per year.

Chance UK, Marcus Zentner's suggestion, is an early intervention organisation that supports children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties. The children that it works with are at risk of educational exclusion, anti-social and/or criminal behaviour in adolescence and early adult life. They empower children to develop their skills, confidence and life aspirations through a year-long mentoring programme.

Our donation contributes to the costs of recruiting, training and supporting the 140 fantastic volunteer mentors supporting Chance UK children this year.
