The Property Professionals Breakfast Club was set up in 1987 by Steven Parnes and Harvey Selby to establish a regular social venue for Property Professionals, Developers, Investors, Dealers, Agents, Solicitors, Surveyors, Accountants and Bankers to meet on a regular, but casual basis to encourage an exchange of views and experiences in the marketplace. Breakfast on the way to work seemed an ideal format and the early meetings were held at the Holiday Inn at Swiss Cottage and latterly at the Clive Hotel. We now meet at Richoux in St. Johns Wood. We occasionally invited speakers and the buffet breakfast became successful. Over the years many interesting deals have been done and numerous business relationships formed.
Now with the help of Michael Green membership has grown to around 150. A full English breakfast is served, free to all members, who can bring a guest, for which a charge is usually made.
We ask members to make a donation to the Raven Charitable Trust at 40a Hampstead High Street, London NW3 1QE. whenever they successfully conclude a transaction with another member of the club where the introduction was made by or through the club. The Trust is a registered charity, No. 803380, and therefore the donation is tax deductible. The amount of the donation is optional and at the end of each year the donations are given to a charity nominated by the members.
